the BHU UET 2020 is a state-level exam conducted by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for admission to various undergraduate courses (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, Shastri, B.A.Social Sciences and other courses), Engineering and Pharmacy courses offered by the participating colleges. The admission to UG/PG courses is done through BHU UET score. The seat allotment is done by Banaras Hindu University through the BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test Counselling process. The BHU UET exam is conducted through offline mode where candidates are required to mark their answers in an Objective Response Sheet (ORS). All the questions are Multiple-Choice type with four options. Candidates are required to select the correct response and mark it as their answer. BHU UET Exam 2020 Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil the following criteria for admission to professional courses through the BHU UET 2020 exam:
Indian nationals, NRIs holding an Indian passport, OCI/ PIO are eligible to apply for the exam.
Candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1, 2020. However, those applying for B.Sc. Agriculture must be 16 years of age whereas the upper age limit is 25 years of age as on before July 1, 2020. Also, candidates belonging to reserved category will be given upper age relaxation as per the Government norms.
Educational Qualification –
Education Qualification – The educational qualification is course specific, however, every candidate must have completed and qualified class 12th or equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks in the specific subject.
BHU UET Exam 2020 Application Process
The BHU UET application process is offline where candidates are required to download the application form from the official website. The application is to be submitted within the given time. Here are the steps for submitting the application form.
Steps for submitting the BHU UET 2020 Application Form –
Read the instructions provided with the application form carefully before filling the application form.
- Visit the official website – http://bhuonline.in/
- Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab on the top of the home-page.
- Move the mouse over the ‘Application Forms’ option and select the ‘BHU UET Application Form’ option from the pop-up window.
- The application form will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a print on a good quality A4 size bond paper.
- Fill the form with personal details, academic details, correspondence details, select subjects, and enter the centre code.
- Pay the application fee ₹ 2000/- to the “Directorate of Technical Education” with the given client code in any branch of HDFC Bank in the state of Goa.
- After successful payment, enter the details of bank pay-in-slip in the application form.
- Complete other details in the application form.
- Fix a recent photograph at the space provided. Include 2 additional passport size photographs along with the application form.
Submit the filled-in application form, self-attested copies of SSCE passing certificate and Class XII passing certificate/ HSSC examination hall ticket, and two passport-size photographs similar to the one pasted on the application form to the respective address as per the centre selected by you. The centre details and corresponding address are available in the ‘Other Details’ section below.
The list of the centre is as per 2019 notification. There might be changes in the examination centre as per the new notification. The same will be updated later.
BHU UET 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for the BHU UET 2020 exam has to be obtained from the admission committee in Person after submitting the application form. After you submit your application form at the respective centre, the form will be checked. The admission committee will issue the admit card of BHU UET 2020 to those candidates who have successfully submitted the online form. BHU UET admit card is released in online mode on the official website..
BHU UET hall ticket 2020 will consist of the details like:

- Roll number
- Photograph and signature
- Date and time of exam
- Address of the exam centre

BHU UET 2020 Result
The BHU UET 2020 result will be made available on the official website and at BHU Notice Board. Candidates can check the result from these places. On the official website, the result will be available in PDF format. Candidates are required to check their roll number in the list of qualified candidates. The subject-wise score will be mentioned in the list. No individual scorecard will be issued. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates.
The BHU UET result 2020 will have information about – candidate’s name, marks secured by the candidate, candidate’s rank and category-wise rank.
BHU UET 2020 Counselling
Qualified candidates are required to register for the counselling process. The counselling form has to be filled offline and submitted at the DTE office in person. On submission of the form, candidates will get an acknowledgement card. Candidates are required to be present at the admission centre carrying original documents, acknowledgement card, and fees. Candidates will be given the choice of selecting the seat as per their merit. After seat allotment, candidates are required to report at the allotted college within 3 working days to confirm admission. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of admission.
BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2020
Candidates can check below the steps involved in the counselling of BHU UET 2020:
- Online Preference Entry – In this step, candidates will have to fill in the details about their preference. They need to fill in honours subject, preference of location, choice of course and seat type
- Activity on the day of counselling of BHU UET – Candidates will have to reach the venue and know about the available honours/course combinations. You can also change the course if required. Candidates will have to collect the Provisional Admission Letter on the next day of the counselling
BHU UET Cutoff 2020
The cutoff of BHU UET is the minimum marks that a candidate is required to obtain in order to qualify in the exam.
